Graham Ready to Roll Kosciuszko Dice Again

Trainer Jenny Graham is excited about her charge Victorem (I Am Invincible-Playful Miss, by Foreplay) having another shot at the lucrative The Kosciuszko. Victorem won the 2018 Country Championships and is on track for the $1.3 million country feature at Randwick on October 16. He has been raced at the top level this year, having run well in both the Gr1 Kingsford Smith Cup (1300m) and Stradbroke Handicap (1400m). Now he is taking a few weeks off back in the stables at the Gold Coast. “I didn’t want to leave it too long, so he’ll tick along here and hopefully it won’t take long to build his fitness up again,’’ Graham told racingnsw.com. “He ran some great races and is credible enough to be competitive in a Kosciuszko for sure. He’s a great horse, he races very honestly if there’s nothing wrong with him.
