Grandview Stud Announces 2021 Sire Fees

In Queensland breeding news, Grandview Stud has announced the 2021 service fees for its QTIS stallions Under The Louvre (Excellent Art-Barcelona Girl, by Noverre) and Whittington (Tale of the Cat- Maha Chakri, by Beautiful Crown). Under The Louvre will stand for $5,500 including GST and Whittington will stand for $3,300 including GST. Gr1 Stradbroke winner Under The Louvre’s first crop are 2YOs and include impressive winners for Ciaron Maher Racing – Cadboll & Under The Dunes. His yearlings had a 100% clearance rate at this year’s Magic Millions QTIS Sale with 12 lots sold (top 5 at the sale). Being free of Danzig / Danehill, he offers a rare outcross for breeders. Stud principal Michael Grieve enthused, “It won’t be long before we see many more winners from this Group 1-winning stallion going by the reports we are receiving from stables and bloodstock agents. Under The Louvre is producing athletic, strong and powerful types with good actions and, importantly, terrific attitudes to their training.” Impeccable type Whittington’s oldest crop are 4YOs, with the stallion enjoying his best season with 59 runners, 36 winners (61%) for 60 wins and $1.3 million-plus in prizemoney.
