Elite Winner's Dam Selling in Foal to Pierata

One of 33 mares catalogued to sell at the Magic Millions National Broodmare sale, having been covered by Gr1 All Aged Stakes winner Pierata (Pierro) in his first season at stud, the Glastonbury Farms-consigned-Celebrity Girl (Starcraft) received a significant update recently when her three-year-old daughter Instant Celebrity (Not A Single Doubt) won the Gr1 Robert Sangster Stakes impressively. Trained by the Phillip Stokes stable, the Mill Park-foaled and raised filly will next head to the Gr1 Goodwood Handicap, and if successful, will add further value to the already valuable mare who sells as Lot 1199. A dual Listed winner herself, the Starcraft mare Celebrity Girl is a daughter of the Listed-winning, Gr1-placed Dashing Granada (Keltrice), a sister to the Gr3 winner Northeast Shelia (Keltrice), who is in turn the dam of stakes winner Jacqueline Rouge (Ne Coupez Pas). It is a family that has always been very well mated, with Celebrity Girl’s first foal, the Sepoy mare Pirapala producing colts in her first two seasons at stud to Russian Revolution and Zoustar for owners China Horse Club, therefore there is plenty of appeal to stud master looking to secure an outstanding prospect.
