Randwick's Kensington track will host the debut run for the half-brother to Hong Kong star Golden Sixty (Medaglia d'Oro-Geaudeamus, by Distorted Humor) today, while up at Eagle Farm the half-brother to Group 1 sprinter Buffering (Mossman-Action Annie, by Anabaa) will debut. Trial winner Rainbow Connection (Choisir-Gaudeamus, by Distorted Humor) will start in race four at Kensington, and the Matthew Dunn trained 3YO gelding will have the services of Jason Collett. Sold by Element Hill at the 2019 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale for $150,000, Rainbow Connection's dam has left five winners to date including stakes-placed winner Igitur (Helmet) and, of course, triple Group 1 winner Golden Sixty. Meanwhile, Buffering's 2YO half-brother Seefeld (Sebring) will make his debut at Eagle Farm in Race 1. Trained by Buffering's trainer Robert Heathcote, Seefeld was a $180,000 purchase from the draft of KBL Thoroughbreds at the 2020 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale. His dam, Action Annie, has left seven winners from seven runners so far, including seven-time elite winner Buffering.
