  • Profound Redoute's Choice Black Type Influence

    Tuesday, 7th September 2021

Fresh off a gold medal-winning double where it claimed Black Type Premiership (BTP) awards for both Vendor and Dam Sire (Redoute's Choice) categories, Arrowfield Stud has charged to the lead in not one, but two, pivotal categories for the new Black Type Premiership Season. Multiple Australian General & Champion 2YO Sire Snitzel (Redoute's Choice) – see below – is a clear-cut leader of the 2021-22 BTP Stallion race on 35 points, ahead of Waikato Stud’s Savabeel (Zabeel) and Vinery Stud’s All Too Hard (Casino Prince). Ominously for Snitzel, his points haul has come from seven individual stakes-performers, with his closest rival on that score being retired stable-mate Not A Single Doubt (Redoute’s Choice) who has four and who is in joint fourth position. Meanwhile, last season’s runaway BTP Dam Sire winner Redoute's Choice (Danehill) hasn’t missed a beat. Once again the leader, he, like second-placed Lonhro (Octagonal), already boasts 6 individual stakes-performers out of his daughters in 2021-22. Adding to Arrowfield Stud’s dominant start, their former champion sire Flying Spur (Danehill) holds third position among the dam sires.
