Already standing the former Aquis Victoria stallion Royal Meeting (Invincible Spirit) and new recruit Fiery Impact (Deep Impact), the triple Gr1 winner, Leneva Park have made the move to secure the exciting, Gr1 placed 4YO Aysar (Deep Field-Miss Interiors, by Flying Spur), who the long-range plan of standing the Ben and JD Hayes-trained runner at stud. Set to begin his Spring campaign this Saturday in the Gr3 $200,000 Aurie's Star Handicap (1200m) at Flemington, the half-brother to the Chris Waller trained Home Affairs (I Am Invincible) is currently on the second line of betting behind last start Gr3 Bletchingly Stakes third placed The Astrologist (Zoustar-Aquada, by Flying Spur). Second behind Ole Kirk (Written Tycoon) in the Gr1 Caulfield Guineas, Aysar is relatively lightly raced with nine starts, placing in the top three on seven occasions with his only real disappointment coming last time out in the Gr1 Australian Guineas when down the track behind Lunar Fox (Foxwedge), when beaten four lengths. In what will be a very interesting race, another running looking to increase their possible stud value is the Danny O'Brien trained Banquo (Written Tycoon-Noondie, by Flying Spur), with the Listed winning 5YO a full-brother to Gr1 winner Booker.
