Purchased by Elite Thoroughbreds for $80,000 from the draft of Sledmere Stud at the Inglis Classic yearling sale, Feudalist is a half-brother to the Gr1-producing Fastnet Rock sire Stryker as well as the stakes placed Seeking Attention (Exceed And Excel), who is in turn the dam of South African Listed winner Buckinghampshire (Lonhro).
