  • Expensive Written Tycoon Filly to Debut

    Thursday, 8th July 2021

Trainer Annabel Neasham will unveil an expensive 2YO filly on Thursday at Kembla Grange in the Stephen Hood Maiden 2YO Handicap over 1000m (Race 4). Love to Dream (Written Tycoon-Hijack Hussy, by Hussonet) was sold by Glenlogan Park for $800,000 to Aquis Farm at the 2020 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale. The filly is the first foal of her Listed winning dam and is already a trial winner. Four other 2YOs will debut in the same race: Taizai (Maurice-Brazilian Pulse, by Captain Rio) whose dam is a Gr1 winner, Party for One (Rubick-Ascalon, by Makfi) whose second dam is Gr1 winner Grand Archway (Archway), Shoo Shoo Shoo (Not a Single Doubt-Ziptomylu, by City Zip) who is a half-sister to US stakes-placed winner Paynt Battle (Paynter), and last but definitely not least, Typhoon Taavi (I Am Invincible-My Amelia, by Redoute’s Choice). Typhoon Taavi wasn’t offered at auction, and the filly is a half-sister to Gr1 winner The Mission (Choisir), out of a winning daughter of Gr1 winner Carry on Cutie (More Than Ready).
