Personal Sent to US for Breeders Cup

Gr1 VRC Oaks winner Personal (Fastnet Rock-Personify, by Galileo) is headed to the United States to be trained by Chad Brown, reports racing.com. "The fillies and mares' Breeders' Cup would be the ultimate goal but of course, she has to travel and show her form in lead-up races," Coolmore racing manager Rob Archibald said. "They think there is more racing in her and there is a very good opportunity in America for fillies and mares, and given her form again this season, it is certainly worth a try. Personal will spend a few days in quarantine before joining Brown's stable. "We have to thank the Hayes family and (Lindsay Park) stable for developing her into an incredible filly." A winner as a 2YO at her second start, Personal showed Group 1 quality early by running third in the Gr1 Blue Diamond Stakes. As a 3YO, she won the Gr1 VRC Oaks, and placed in group company on six occasions. Her full record stands at two wins from 14 starts and earnings over $1.25 million. She was a $640,000 purchase at the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale for Coolmore from the Cressfield Stud draft.
