Inglis Ready2Race Sale Entries Open

Entries are now open for the 2021 Inglis Ready2Race Sale, the auction that has in recent years produced the likes of dual Gr1 winner Nettoyer (Sebring), this season’s Gr2-winning 2YO Lightsaber (Zoustar), Hong Kong star Wishful Thinker (I Am Invincible), Allibor (All Too Hard), Trumbull (Darci Brahma), See You In Spring (Siyouni). In addition to also producing stakes-performed 2YOs Outbound (Outreach), Silent Theory (Nicconi) and Akahata (Pins), the sale’s 2020 renewal produced sensational figures for a juvenile sale:

• The gross of $11,642,000 was the highest-ever for an Australian 2YO sale and 69% greater than the next best in Australia in 2020.
• Its average of almost $97,017 was 84% higher than the closest Australian rival and the highest of any Australasian 2YO auction
• The top price of $610,000 was the highest price at any Australian 2YO Sale in over a decade
• A total of 39 lots sold for $100,000 or more - 129% more than the nearest Australian competitor - bought by 32 different individual buyers
• The 2020 sale also produced stakes-performed 2YOs Outbound, Silent Theory and Akahata as well as promising winners Douceur, Aslav and Predetermined among others.
