  • New Recruit Excites Kingstar Manager

    Friday, 30th April 2021

Reflecting on the exciting acquisition of juvenile speed machine Time To Reign (Time For War-Courgette, by Charge Forward) – see avove item – Kingstar Farm manager Adam Cook enthused, “We work hard at Kingstar to structure these stallions at an affordable fee to provide a return for breeders, whether with a basic nomination or breeding rights. We've secured one of the best 2YOs of his year, a Silver Slipper winner with a Golden Slipper pedigree and cannot wait to have breeders come and inspect him at Kingstar. You won't be disappointed." Aware of how brilliantly Time To Reign had trialled, defeating Verry Elleegant, Nakeeta Jane, Unforgotten and Patrick Erin Cook by 6.3-lengths, before picking up a virus he  never overcame which was obvious in his handful of subsequent starts, Cook commented, "It was such a shame to see him go amiss as a 3YO as he grew and developed into a magnificent type and had the natural ability to match it with the best of his generation.” Time To Reign will join resident Kingstar Farm stallions Unite And Conquer (Hinchinbrook), Bull Point (Fastnet Rock) and Lord Of The Sky (Danerich) at their Hunter Valley property near Denman.
