Lost and Running (Per Incanto-Dreamlife, by Danroad) is the $1.80 favourite in today's Vinery Stud Handicap over 1100m at Canterbury, having won all four starts to date, reports racingnsw.com.au. "I like winning, I think it is good for horse and owner and trainer," trainer John O'Shea said. "We had a progressionary program laid out for him. He's very good, we're really looking forward to getting him out a bit in trip and when he gets onto a bigger track he'll be suited. We'll see what happens after Wednesday, we have a few options and we'd like to get him into open company." Lost and Running was purchased by his trainer for $40,000 at the Inglis Melbourne Yearling Sale from the draft of Blandford Lodge, and he shares a damsire with Group 1 winner Verry Elleegant (Zed-Opulence, by Danroad). O'Shea has four other runners at Canterbury including progressive 3YO Mr Gee (All Too Hard-Music Review, by Singspiel) who hasn't raced since finishing fourth in the Gr3 Grand Prix in December 2020. "I think he is a really nice progressive young stayer who likes to get his toe in the ground," he said. "He's had a nice break, every time we have turned him out and come back in he's improved and this time is no different."
