  • Clairvoyance Looks the Goods in Slick Trial

    Wednesday, 24th March 2021

Untapped Perth filly Clairvoyance (Nostradamus-Dance on Air, by Perugino) has returned to the trials in a blaze of glory, reports thewest.com.au. Trained by Darren McAuliffe, the 3YO daughter of Rosemont Stud stallion Nostradamus (Medaglia d’Oro-Leone Chiara, by Lion Hunter) put 3-lengths on her opposition over 400m at Lark Hill, something that would have sent chills down the spine of other stables likely to bump into her soon. Undefeated from her only four starts – two of the wins were by 5-lengths – and last seen at the racetrack in October, Clairvoyance put a spring in the step of jockey Chris Parnham who observed after her trial, “She feels very good. I couldn’t have been happier with her.” The scheduled program for the filly will be kick-started at Ascot on 3 April over 1100m, before a drop back to 1000m a fortnight later. That should set the platform for her feature campaign in May, potentially comprising an assault on three tracks in the $150,000 Northam Stakes (1000m), Ascot’s $200,000 Roma Cup (1200m) and the $200,000 Belmont Sprint (1400m).
