Enable Confirmed in Foal to Kingman

A 15-day scan has confirmed that champion racemare Enable (Nathaniel-Concentric, by Sadler’s Wells) is in foal to Kingman (Invincible Spirit-Zenda, by Zamindar). The positive test was tweeted by Juddmonte Farms, whose late principal Khalid Abdullah raced both horses. Enable retired at the end of last year as one of the greatest mares ever, her eleven Group 1 wins contributing to astonishing earnings of close to £11 million. Kingman, by the rapidly emerging Invincible Spirit (Green Desert) branch of Danzig (Northern Dancer), is amongst the most popular young stallions in Europe. In announcing the news, Juddmonte’s tweet read, “15 days after covering, champion Enable was this morning successfully scanned in foal to Kingman. Hopefully an exciting new chapter in this remarkable mare's story...” Prior to Christmas, a well-reviewed DVD celebrating Enable’s remarkable career, including lots of background footage, was released in the UK.
