  • Kingstar Yearlings' Potential Sky High

    Monday, 8th February 2021

If the rumours are true, then Kingstar Farm are due to hit the big time with their stallions. Bull Point has started his career in fine form, with Readily Availabull, Fearless Vision and Encoutabull; while first season sire Lord of the Sky (see below) has plenty of good judges talking about the quality of his stock. Kingstar Farm will present five Lord of the Sky yearlings in their draft of nine horses for the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale. American broodmares, especially those with good race records, have done an excellent job at stud in Australia, and Lot 630 fits the bill as this colt is out of dual Listed winner Hadavision, who has already left three winners here. The first foal of four-time winning mare She Brings (Sebring), Lot 308, is a colt from an early maturing family; while Lot 325 is a colt out of a young winning three-quarter sister to Inglis Guineas winner Loved Up. Both of the Lord of the Sky fillies have solid pedigrees to recommend them, such as Lot 786 who is the half-sister to Listed 2YO winner Real Good; while Lot 657, who is the second foal of a winning Lonhro mare with many recent winners on the page to keep providing residual value. Kingstar Farm's Bull Point is represented by a colt, Lot 637, and he is a half-brother to two winners from a strong NZ family. The Classic draft for Kingstar Farm is rounded out by a beautifully bred Capitalist filly, Lot 504, whose tough Listed-winning dam's half-brother recently won a stakes race in Singapore; there's also a Rubick colt, Lot 140, whose dam is a half-sister to four-time Gr1 winner Divine Madonna; a Dalghar colt, Lot 696, who is a full-brother to stakes placed 2YO winner First Law and a half-brother to group winner Spirit Bird.
