  • Bullish Week Ahead for Kingstar

    Friday, 8th January 2021

Kingstar Farm principal Matthew Sandblom is approaching next week’s Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale and $10 million Raceday with more anticipation than most. In addition to offering Kingstar’s first draft at the Gold Coast – see here – Sandblom (a part owner of former MM 2YO Classic and Golden Slipper winner Capitalist) will be hoping to see a big run from MM Clockwise winner Readily Availabull in this year’s 2YO Classic. By Kingstar resident stallion Bull Point – the highest priced Magic Millions yearling of his year – Readily Availabull won his Sydney trial convincingly on Thursday morning. Rated extremely highly by one of Australia’s leading form experts after his Ballarat win, Readily Availabull could become the second stakes performer for his well-performed young sire Bull Point (Fastnet Rock) who also boasts Inglis Nursery-placed Encountabull from just a dozen runners thus far. Michael Dee, who rode Readily Availabull in his eye-catching Magic Millions Clockwise victory will take the ride in the $2 million feature on Saturday week where he is expected to be ideally suited to the 1200m event with its assumed pace.
