Boom Filly Set to Hustle at The Valley
Meanwhile, creating a lot of interest on Saturday is the race return of prodigiously talented Brooklyn Hustle. Just out of the placings in the Gr1 Blue Diamond Stakes in 2019, the daughter of Starspangledbanner closed off her 2019-2020 season last November with a creditable fifth placing in the Gr1 Coolmore Stud Stakes (see below with red silks) after placing third in the Gr2 Blue Sapphire behind Anaheed. Owned by Rosemont Stud which stands her globe-trotting sire, Brooklyn Hustle should be getting into her work late over 1000m at The Valley. It's the same course and distance where she defeated subsequent The Everest winner Yes Yes Yes by 2-lengths when coming from the clouds on debut in a jaw-dropping performance. Fresh-up, Brooklyn Hustle is a huge danger and has been priced accordingly as $2.70 favourite.
