Viddora Wednesday's Big Gold Coast Drawcard

Wednesday, 29th July 2020

Ahead of Day 3 of the National Sale, where dual Group 1-winning mare Viddora, in foal to Lope de Vega, is expected to be highly sought-after, Magic Millions MD Barry Bowditch reflected on Day 2’s results. "It is hard to have clear expectations in the current times. But I thought vendors on the whole did their best to meet the market. There are a lot of opportunities for buyers. A lot of these horses have got good covers and they are young mares and I expect anyone keeping their lists long at this sale would be a fruitful outcome for them in years to come." Bowditch pointed out, "There is obviously a little bit more uncertainty at the moment… But all in all when you look at the figures and what the good mares made today I would have thought the vendors of them would be pleased with the outcomes. The average is healthy and there are plenty of buyers here that have got money to spend on the right product and a lot of it is still in their pockets…” Updated key sale statistics after two days selling are below (2109 in brackets):
