Anderson Bypasses Sydney Spring with Stars

Brisbane trainer Chris Anderson has made the decision to give Sydney’s spring features a miss with his star duo Proft and Ballistic Boy, reports AAP. Amongst the best gallopers in the sunshine state, the two horses have been spelling at Washpool Lodge. Specked in markets for some of Sydney’s upcoming Group 1 features, the pair will instead be given plenty of time to continue their rest and recuperation as Anderson prepares the Think Big Stud-owned horses for the lucrative Magic Millions Carnival in early January which has been augmented by an enticing lead-up of December features. Anderson noted, "They both had big winters because we had to keep changing the programs for both with the races being swapped about. Ballistic Boy will tackle the Magic Millions Cup while Profit will be aimed at The Wave. Those are races which really suit…”
