Rushing Fall Makes It Five Gr1s
5YO mare Rushing Fall (More Than Ready-Autumnal, by Forestry) has made it five Gr1 wins with her second Gr1 Jenny Wiley Stakes win, reported bloodhorse.com. "Everyone wishes for a horse like this," said owner Bob Edwards of e Five Racing Thoroughbreds. "I hope I get another one in my racing career like her. This is just phenomenal," Edwards said. "We're all sitting around watching it at the house. I'm still shaking. The adrenaline spike is still there, even when you're watching from your couch." Rushing Fall won the 1700m race on firm turf in 1:39.02, a course and race record. Winner of ten of her 13 starts, and over $2million, Rushing Fall's Gr1 wins are the 2017 Gr1 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf, 2018 Gr1 Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup, 2019 and 2020 Gr1 Jenny Wiley Stakes, and 2019 Gr1 Belmont Just a Game Stakes. She was purchased from Taylor Made at the 2016 Fasig-Tipton Yearling Sale for $320,000, and Rushing Fall is a half-sister to Listed winner Milam (Street Sense) and the dam of Listed winner Empire Line (Morning Line), from the family of Gr1 winner Albert the Great (Go for Gin).
