Snitz Favoured For Grafton Ramornie

At Grafton in northern NSW this afternoon, the Clarence iver Jockey Club stages its famous Ramornie Handicap, with the Listed 1200m event carrying a valuable $200,000 purse. Favourite for the race at around $3.70 is in form Snitzel gelding Snitz, trained by Matthew Dunn who went within a whisker of training the entire card at last week’s Murwillumbah meeting. Snitz has not missed a place in his past 8 starts – all in the city – which have yielded 5 wins, and has drawn barrier six. Also fancied are Boomsara, Haunted, Hightail, Signore Fox and Southern Lad.
