Plutocrat Gives Freshman Rich Enuff Another First
Woodside Park Stud's freshman sire Rich Enuff, a son of the Victorian stud farm's star sire Written Tycoon who is standing the 2020 stud season at Arrowfield Stud in the Hunter Valley, has sired his first stakes winner. Plutocrat, a 2YO first crop daughter of the Gr2-winning, Gr1 Caulfield Guineas runner-up, came with a surging run one off the fence in Saturday's Listed Tattersall's Club Stakes (1400m) at Eagle Farm to win a head-bobber for local trainer Chris Anderson – see below. Ironically, Plutocrat had also been the first of Rich Enuff's 6 individual winners to date. The black-type achievement provided Rich Enuff with one up on his father, bettering the efforts of his sire Written Tycoon at the same period of their respective stud careers. Rich Enuff is standing the 2020 season at Woodside Park for $8,800.
What an outstanding start #RichEnuff has made to his stallion career with 6 first crop winners so far - equal to his Champ Sire #WrittenTycoon - and now a stakes winner with Plutocrat - something his sire didn’t achieve with a first crop 2yo! #SkysTheLimit @TDNAusNZ @anz_news pic.twitter.com/ArQhtfOLTC
