SuperTab Part of Royal Ascot Commingling

On Tuesday night, despite a few problems with the Sky Racing broadcast feed due to a distribution error, Tabcorp’s SuperTab (VIC) joined Hong Kong’s World Pool for Royal Ascot. The move follows last year’s successful trial which saw the local pool commingled into a much bigger pool, one which provides far greater liquidity and, therefore, less fluctuations. The exercise will continue from Wednesday through to Saturday’s final day. Paul Cross, Tabcorp’s General Manager International Development, told racenet.com.au, “We are once again delighted to join UK Tote and the HKJC in the World Pool for Royal Ascot this year. This tote gives our customers access to a truly global pool and we look forward to more of these types of tote pools with major races throughout the year.”
