Track Stars Among Inglis Race Series Beneficiaries

Thursday, 4th June 2020

Many outstanding horses have been the beneficiaries of the lucrative Inglis Race Series in recent years including Gr1 winners such as She Will Reign, Extreme Choice, Castelvecchio, Starspangledbanner and Mossfun while earlier this year the flying filly Rubisaki announced herself a star when winning the Inglis Sprint (pictured). The $6m Inglis Race Series for 2020 graduates is open to all horses which have been offered for sale at this year’s Classic, Premier or Easter Sales, any horses offered at the upcoming Easter Round 2, Scone, Melbourne Gold or Ready2Race Sales, any weanlings purchased at the 2019 Australian Weanling or Great Southern Sales and any yearlings sold through the Inglis Digital online platform from January 2020 to July 2020. All paid-up graduates will also be eligible for the $2m Inglis Triple Crown, claimed if a 2YO can win either the Inglis Banner (Moonee Valley on Cox Plate Day) or Inglis Nursery (Randwick in December) as well as the Inglis Millennium and Inglis Sires. Inglis Managing Director Mark Webster welcomed the Race Series changes, saying they create even more fantastic opportunities for participants on all levels to race for significant prizemoney. Registrations for the Inglis Race Series for 2020 graduates remain open until July 31. The entry fee is $3000+GST for yearlings offered at Easter Round 1, Easter Round 2, Premier and Classic or $1500+GST for yearlings offered at Classic Highway Session, Premier Showcase Session, Melbourne Gold, Scone and Inglis Digital, 2YOs from the Ready2Race Sale and weanlings sold at the 2019 Australian Weanling or Great Southern Sales. Trainers of winning horses of an Inglis Race Series event will again win a set of Swarovski Optik EL 32 Swarovision binoculars valued at $2500.
