The burgeoning stable of Victorian pair Ciaron Maher and David Eustace reportedly has an entrant for March’s Dubai World Cup (2000m). According to punters.com, 5YO French import Olmedo (Declaration of War-Super Pie, by Pivotal) is one of 176 early entries for the US$12 million feature race on Meydan’s World Cup meeting card. Trained by France’s Jean-Claude Rouget, Olmedo boasts a Gr1 victory, and will soon transfer to his new Australian trainers who have also entered him for the US$6 million Dubai Turf (1800m) and US$6 million Dubai Sheema Classic along with fellow import, Zipping Classic winner Southern France.
