Arc Winner Unfazed By Rosehill Rome Dash

Tuesday, 5th November 2019

Jetlag is no match for this year's Arc-winning jockey Pierre-Charles Boudot, who rode in two races at Rosehill on Saturday (including the $7.5m Golden Eagle (1500m)) and still made it back to Europe in time to claim a Group victory in Italy on Sunday. racing.com revealed that the 26-year-old hoop skilfully guided the Jérôme Reynier-trained Skalleti to success in the Gr2 Premio Roma (2000m) at Capannelle racecourse, a far superior result to his 14th place finish aboard the Aidan O'Brien-trained Never No More in the $7.5 million feature the day prior. His airfare was however covered by a runner-up on Bjorn Baker's Freehearted in a fillies and mares 1200m race earlier in the day.
