Heathcote-Anderson Partnership To Close

Friday, 27th September 2019

The short-lived training partnership of succesful Brisbane trainers Robert Heathcote and Chris Anderson, currently lying second in the Brisbane Premiership, is to be dissolved. Formally started in May, the duo, who have four runners at Doomben on Saturday, have decided to revert back to running their own affairs – they have both retained their original barns – after reaching an amicable decision that it was best to act as soon as possible. According to AAP, the decision will need to be ratified by both Racing Queensland and Racing Australia, with Anderson noting to TAB Radio: “The good thing is we will still be the best of mates. We will dissolve it quite quickly. We spoke about it and if we're going to dissolve it, now's the time." No jobs are likely to be lost due to the split.
