Nine Waller Horses vs Te Akau Shark

Thursday, 5th September 2019

Trainer Chris Waller will dominated Saturday's Gr2 Tramway Stakes over 1400m at Randwick with nine of the fourteen runners. Waller won't have the favourite with that honour going to Te Akau Shark (Rip Van Winkle-Bak da Chief, by Chief Bearhart) trained by kiwi Jamie Richards, but his nine runners includes Kolding (Ocean Park-Magic Star, by Danzero) who is resuming after winning four in succession last campaign. Punters nemesis Tom Melbourne (Dylan Thomas-Roshanak, by Spinning World) will face the starter for Waller, as will several of his imports – Mister Sea Wolf (Amadeus Wolf-Rose De France, by Diktat), Le Juge (Dansili-Mambo Light, by Kingmambo), Mantastic (Fastnet Rock-Foreign Legionary, by Galileo), and Life Less Ordinary (Thewayyouare-Dont Cross Tina, by Cape Cross). He also has Kaonic (Savabeel-Fast Love, by Fastnet Rock), Star of the Seas (Ocean Park-Stella Livia, by Titus Livius) and Eckstein (I Am Invincible-Comrie, by Choisir).
