Severe Injury for Kings Will Dream
The connections of Kings Will Dream have revealed the talented galloper suffered a fractured pelvis during the running of Saturday's Cox Plate at Moonee Valley. The Darren Weir-trained import failed to finish the race after he was pulled up by jockey John Allen. He is currently being treated at Ballarat Veterinary Hospital. Part-owner Ozzie Kheir said: "He’s in no pain but we’re not sure where it’s going to go from here."

He sustained a pelvic fracture & ruptured a blood vessel which thankfully looks to have clotted over night. The next 24- 72 hours is critical as he will be monitored closely, the vets are still concerned the blood clot can be disturbed. Praying for KWD🙏
