At the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, 6YO Irish-bred gelding Plot Twist (Champs Elysee-Bryanstown Girl, by Kalanisi) claimed the first stakes victory of his career when scoring by 1.5 lengths for trainers Peter & Paul Snowden in the $150,000 Gr3 The Queen's Cup (3200m) for 3YO+, defeating Anton En Avant & Megablast. Plot Twist, who is now unbeaten in his three starts over 3200 metres, improved his record to 6 wins and 1 placing from 23 starts for $277,640 in earnings. Peter Snowden said Plot Twist will now be spelled and aimed at next year's Group 2 Adelaide Cup (3200m) at Morphettville. "He did a great job. He's a real two-miler," Snowden told Racing Queensland. "It was a great result and he was weighted to run a big race."
