Champagne Cuddles Enjoying Break

Wednesday, 11th July 2018

Trainer Bjorn Baker says he is yet to map out a spring program for multiple Group 1 performing filly Champagne Cuddles. The 3YO is currently spelling in the NSW Hunter Valley following a Brisbane winter campaign that yielded a first-up win in the Group 3 Gold Coast Guineas and placings in the Group 1 Kingsford-Smith Cup and Group 1 Stradbroke Handicap. "She's out spelling at the moment. We are yet to finalise her spring program and will just see how she goes over the next week or two," Baker told Sky Sports Radio. "She's at Turangga Farm. She was bred by Stuart Ramsay so she's back where she grew up." He added: "She's a high class filly and I can't wait to get her back into the stable and wherever we go with her she will be competitive."
