Sweet Orange Returns To Highview
Meanwhile, NZ Racing Desk also reports that entire Sweet Orange will return to Highview Stud for the 2018 season. Highview Stud's Brent Gillovic confirmed that the son of War Front will return to Waikato after a brief stint at Aquis Farm in Queensland. Now owned by the Inner Mongolia Rider Horse Group's Lang Lin, Sweet Orange will stand at NZ$5,000 + GST. US-bred Sweet Orange (from winning Unbridled's Song mare Good Vibes) raced in Ireland and was successful at Listed level over 1400m, before reaching similar Listed heights in Kong Kong and also finishing 3rd in the Gr1 Queen Elizabeth Cup (2000m). His oldest are now 2YOs and he already has a winner (Khimar War) from only 6 runners. Gillovic noted, "Everybody who has got a Sweet Orange has been raving about them." He added, "I sold two to the South Island, one was Khimar War who looks pretty good and another one out of Senorita Rosay that's been a trial winner."
