At Flemington racecourse in Melbourne, Darley's deceased shuttler & Gr1 Dubai World Cup winner Street Cry (Machiavellian-Helen Street, by Troy) added a stakes race success when 6YO Irish-bred gelding Camdus (Street Cry-Elusive Sparkle, by Elusive Quality) held on for a narrow win in the $150,000 Listed Victorian Sprint Series Final (1200m) for 3YO+, defeating Just Hifalutin & Hellova Street. The Waratah Thoroughbred's owned Camdus, who is a three-quarter brother to Darley's Kentucky Derby-winning shuttler Street Sense, improved his record to 8 wins and 4 placings from 22 starts for $371,050 in earnings.
