Impressive Debut Winner for Jet Spur

Thursday, 5th October 2017

Grandview resident stallion Jet Spur produced an exciting debut winner at Toowoomba last Sunday. In the first QLD 2YO race of the season, the John Zielke-trained Hopes Eternal showed blistering speed to outclass his rivals by 5 lengths in the Pat O’Shea 2YO Plate over 1000m. The well-bred Hopes Eternal is out of the Gr3-winning Encosta de Lago mare Besame Mucho, dam also of stakes winners Essington and Frespanol. Besame Mucho herself is a full-sister to dual Gr3 winner Gold Lottey. Jet Spur, Queensland’s champion sire of 2015, stands at Grandview at a fee of $6,600 inc. GST.
