Australian Sires Premiership Update

After eight weeks of the 2017-18 racing season, Arrowfield Stud's incumbent Champion Australian Sire Snitzel has established a sizable early lead at the top of the national sires' leader board courtesy of Trapeze Artist's victory in Saturday's $1 million Gr1 Golden Rose. Snitzel's progeny earnings are now in excess of $3.1 million. Occupying second position is Coolmore's former champion Australian sire Fastnet Rock with $1.87 million, while Darley's deceased shuttler & Gr1 Dubai World Cup winner Street Cry rounds out the top three with $1.82 million. According to arion.co.nz, the Top 10 ranked stallions in Australia (as of 25 September) are:
