Wednesday, 13th September 2017

French Derby winner Intello (Galileo-Impressionnante, by Danehill) sired his first stakes winner when 2YO filly Sonjeu (Intello-Wait And See, by Montjeu) won at Maisons-Laffitte in France on Monday. Carrying the familiar white and light blue silks of her owners the Wertheimer brothers, Sonjeu improved her record to 3 wins from 4 starts when landing the Listed Prix Saraca over 1300 metres. From a first crop of 102 foals, Intello has hitherto been represented by 12 runners in four countries (France, UK, Italy & Germany) with 2 winners and now 1 stakes winner. He is currently standing at the Head family's famous Haras du Quesnay in Normandy.
