Tuesday, 5th September 2017

Westbury Stud shuttle stallion Reliable Man (Dalakhani-On Fair Stage, by Sadler's Wells) has sired his first stakes winner. His two-year-old daughter Narella opened his black type account when she was successful on Sunday in Germany's Gr3 Zukunftsrennen at Baden-Baden in Germany. The Markus Klug-trained youngster is unbeaten in both of her career starts having broken her maiden on debut at Cologne in July. Reliable Man, who won France's Gr1 Prix du Jockey Club at Chantilly and the Gr1 Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Royal Randwick, is standing the 2017 season at Westbury for NZ$17,500 + GST.
