Melbourne Plans for Summer Passage

Tuesday, 16th May 2017

Exciting Kiwi 2YO Summer Passage is back in light work being prepared for another Australian campaign, reports NZ Racing Desk. “He came back into work last week,” co-trainer Andrew Scott said. “He’s done well and will have a long, slow build-up. We’re looking to campaign him in Melbourne in the spring.” A winner of the Gr1 Sistema Stakes at Ellerslie in March, Summer Passage (Snitzel) confirmed his status as one of the best juveniles in training with a second placing behind Invader in the Gr1 Inglis Sires' Produce Stakes (1400m) in Sydney.
