All American to Stand at Chatswood Stud
Chatswood Stud has announced that proven Gr1 producer All American (Red Ransom-Milva, by Strawberry Road) will join its stallion roster for the 2017 breeding season. The sire of star filly and two-time Gr1 winner Yankee Rose will relocate from Geisel Park Stud after being Western Australia's most popular sire during the 2016 breeding season covering 113 mares. Chatswood Stud's Greg Willis is confident that All American will prove popular with breeders. "He really is the perfect out-cross opportunity, being one of very few Group 1 winning and Group 1 producing sires completely free of Danehill and Danzig blood," Willis said. "Importantly, he's already had significant success with Danehill line mares, including 10 individual winners from Redoute's Choice mares, 7 winners from Danehill mares and also 7 winner's from Flying Spur mares." All American - who posted the fastest time ever recorded by an entire for 1600m at Flemington when he defeated six Gr1 winners to win the 2009 Gr1 Emirates Stakes in 1min 33.98sec - is a half-brother to multiple Group-winning filly More Strawberries and hails from the US family of dual Gr1-winning stallion Rock Hard Ten. All American will stand at a fee of $13,200 (inc. GST).
