Jump-Out For Extreme Choice

Thursday, 20th October 2016

Star sprinting colt Extreme Choice will have his first look at the famous Flemington straight when he contests an 800 metre jump-out tomorrow. A winner of 4 of his 5 starts, Extreme Choice resumed with a slashing win in the Gr1 Moir Stakes (1000m) at Moonee Valley to boost his Gr1 tally to two after winning the Blue Diamond Stakes as a 2YO last season. His next target is the Gr1 Coolmore Stud Stakes (1200m) at Flemington on 29 October. "Extreme Choice will now trial down the straight over 800 metres," trainer Mick Price told racing.com. "He has progressed well since his win at Moonee Valley and I am really happy with him." Extreme Choice (Not A Single Doubt-Extremely, by Hussonet) races in the red and yellow star silks of the China Horse Club after they and Newgate Farm struck a multi-million deal to secure a controlling interest in the colt earlier this year.
