Star Fillies Enhance Outstanding National Catalogue
The who's who of the international breeding industry are set to descend upon the Gold Coast for the Magic Millions National Sale with three star fillies added to a catalogue already brimming with quality prospects. Outstanding race fillies Bring Me the Maid, Fontiton and Perignon are the latest big name entries for the Southern Hemisphere's number one breeding stock sale joining a stunning line up including Triple Crown's Group One winning juvenile Peggy Jean who was announced as a confirmed sale entry on Friday. Bring Me the Maid, a winner of over $780,000 and star galloper for leading syndicator Wylie Dalziel, will present an outstanding opportunity for prospective buyers. A daughter of Sebring, Bring Me the Maid is the winner of three races including the Group Two Magic Night Stakes at two and the Group Two Silver Shadow Stakes at three, as well as placing in a Golden Slipper. Fontiton emerged as one of the two-year-old stars of last season when she burst on the scene by winning her first three starts at black type including both the Blue Diamond lead ins at Group Two and Group Three level respectively. Rounding out the latest group of pin-up entries is the outstanding Snitzel filly Perignon - a last start winner of the Group Two Light Fingers Stakes. A winner of over $310,000 from just nine starts, Perignon is a two time winner and has been placed in three races - all at either Group One or Group Two level. She was third in a Flight Stakes. The 2016 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale is scheduled to be held at the Gold Coast from June 1 to 5.
