Dreamtime Dancer Wins Listed Ascot Guineas

At Ascot in West Australia, former Coolmore shuttler Danehill Dancer (Danehill-Mira Adonde, by Sharpen Up) added a black-type success when 3YO filly Dreamtime Dancer (Danehill Dancer-Skip Along, by Galileo) scored by 0.3-length for trainer Adam Durrant in the $100,000 Listed Ascot Guineas (1800m) for 3YO fillies, over fellow 3YO fillies Arcadia Dream (Domesday-Arcadia, by Redoute's Choice) & First Impressions (Rip Van Winkle-Striker, by Van Nistelrooy). This was successive stakes victories for Dreamtime Dancer who took her record to 3 wins (including the Listed Challenge Stakes) and 3 placings from 7 starts for $171,125 earnings. Dreamtime Dancer, who hails from the family of Gr1 Epsom Handicap winner and stallion Raffindale - sire of Gr1 Manikato Stakes winner Street Ruffian - was a $2,000 purchase at the 2013 Inglis Australian Select Weanling Sale form the draft of Coolmore Stud.
