First Foal For Faint Perfume Set For Debut
Iron Boss, the first foal of dual Gr1-winning filly Faint Perfume, is set to make his debut in a 1200m handicap at Moonee Valley tomorrow. By deceased Dubai World Cup winning stallion Street Cry, Iron Boss is trained by Mark Kavanagh and was a $475,000 purchase at the 2014 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale from the draft of Dato Tan Chin Nam's Think Big Stud. Trained by the master Bart Cummings, Faint Perfume carried the famous yellow with black and white checked silks of Dato Tan Chin Nam to victory in 5 of her 19 starts, including Gr1 victories in the VRC Oaks and the Vinery Stud Stakes. Faint Perfume, whose grand dam is Australian Oaks winner Dandendri, also has a two unnamed colts by champion So You Think.
