At the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Glenlogan Park sire Real Saga (Tale Of The Cat-Windy Kate, by Air Express) added a black-type success when 2YO gelding Real Good (Real Saga-Cruyff I'm Good, by Johan Cruyff) scored by 0.1-length for trainer Trevor Miller in the $100,000 Listed Bruce McLachlan Memorial Classic (1200m) for 2YOs, over 2YO colts Handfast (Street Cry-Lobola, by Anabaa) & Mr Optimistic (Domesday-Be Positive, by Anabaa). This was the first stakes victory for Real Good who took his record to 1 win and 2 placings from 4 starts for $90,000 earnings. Real Good was purchased by Miller for $26,000 at the 2014 Magic Millions National Yearling Sale from the draft of Dartbrook Downs Thoroughbreds.
