Luckygray Wins Gr3 Roma Cup

At Belmont in West Australia, Glenlogan Park Stud's dual stakes-winning stallion Bradbury's Luck (Redoute's Choice-Skating, by At Talaq) added a Group success when 7YO gelding Luckygray (Bradbury's Luck-Damah Lady, by Mukaddamah) scored by 0.25-length for trainer Trevor Andrews in the $150,000 WFA Gr3 Roma Cup (1200m) for 3YO+, over 4YO gelding Dawn Approach (Statue of Liberty-Delicate Snip, by Snippets) & 4YO mare Fuchsia Bandana (Trade Fair-Fuchsia Lady, by Jeune). Luckygray took his record to 14 wins (including the Gr1 WATC Railway Stakes - twice, Gr1 Kingston Town Classic, Gr2 WATC Lee Steere Stakes, Gr2 WATC Hyperion Stakes & Gr3 WATC Roma Cup) & 3 placings (including the Gr1 ATC Railway Stakes) from 30 starts for $2,677,525 earnings. Consigned by Riverslea Farm, Luckygray was a $46,000 purchase by G Poletti at the 2009 Magic Millions Perth Yearling Sale.
