Let's Make Adeal Wins Listed Centaurea Stakes
At Morphettville in South Australia, deceased former Vinery Stud shuttler Red Ransom (Roberto-Arabia, by Damascus) added a black-type success when blue blooded 5YO mare Let's Make Adeal (Red Ransom-Let's Get Famous, by Danehill) finished powerfully to score by 3.5-lengths for trainer Nigel Blackiston in the $100,000 Listed Centaurea Stakes (2000m) for 3YO+ f&m, over 4YO mare Held Hostage (Fastnet Rock-Scribbling, by Palace Music) & Lady Cumquat (Duke of Marmalade-Imposingly, by Zabeel). The talented Let's Make Adeal finally broke through for a thoroughly deserving maiden stakes victory and in the process took her record to 3 wins and 9 placings (including the Gr2 AJC Queen of the South Stakes, Gr2 MRC Herbert Power Handicap & Gr3 Lexus Stakes) from 27 starts for $366,095 earnings. Let's Make Adeal is out of the beautifully bred Danehill mare Let's Get Famous, a daughter of champion racemare and 1992 Australian Horse of The Year Let's Elope (Nassipour-Sharon Jane, by Battle-Waggon). Prepared by legendary trainer Bart Cummings, Let's Elope won 4 times at Gr1 level including victories in the 1991 Caulfield & Melbourne Cups.
