Criterion Entered For Arc

Tuesday, 12th May 2015

Co-trainer Tom Dabernig has confirmed that Criterion (Sebring-Mica's Pride, by Bite The Bullet), who is currently in Newmarket preparing for the Gr1 Prince Of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot on 17 June, will be entered for Europe's most prestigious race, the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, later in the year, reports theinformant.co.nz. "It would be great for the business to be represented there," Dabernig said. "As David [co-trainer David Hayes] says it's on his bucket list to have a runner in the Arc." Dabernig added that, depending on how Criterion performed in the Prince Of Wales's Stakes, the Gr1 Juddmonte International at York on 19 August was also a potential target.
