Mike de Kock has combined with the powerful Shadwell team to produce yet another impressive debut winner in South Africa overnight with Australian-bred 2YO Muwaary romping to a stunning 8-length victory in a 1200m maiden at Vaal. The beautifully bred colt is by O'Reilly out of the stakes winning mare Silently, an Anabaa half-sister to multiple Gr1 winner Criterion from the Gr3 winner Mica's Pride (Bite The Bullet). Muwaary was a $525,000 purchase by Shadwell Australasia at the 2014 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale from the draft of  Edinglassie Stud.
