Undefeated Sir Fever Sold To UAE

Wednesday, 19th November 2014

Unbeaten Uruguayan Triple Crown winner Sir Fever has been sold privately and will continue his career in the United Arab Emirates, reports racenet.com.au. Sir Fever, who made his debut in January, has won all of his 10 starts and completed the Triple Crown when winning the Gran Premio Nacional (2500m) by 5.5-lengths at Maronas on 9 November. In doing so, he became the first Uruguayan Triple Crown winner since Invasor in 2005. Invasor was subsequently purchased by Sheikh Hamdan al Maktoum and went on to win 5 Gr1s in North America, including the Breeders' Cup Classic where he defeated Bernardini, before ending his career on a high by winning the Dubai World Cup, the same race Sir Fever will be targeted at in March.
