Bring Me The Maid Wins Gr2 Magic Night Stakes

At Rosehill Gardens, Gr1 Golden Slipper-winning Widden Stud stallion Sebring (More Than Ready-Purespeed, by Flying Spur) added a black-type success when 2YO filly Bring Me The Maid (Sebring-Maid for Me, by Belong to Me) scored by 0.3-length for trainer Peter Moody in the $175,000 Gr2 Magic Night Stakes (1200m) for 2YO fillies, over fellow fillies Peggy Jean (Myboycharlie-Lady of Love, by Lago Delight) and Sultry Feeling (Encosta de Lago-Visual Emotion, by Silver Deputy). Bring Me The Maid took her record to 2 wins (including the Listed VRC Sports Handicap) & 1 placing (the Listed St Albans Stakes) from 3 starts for $189,500 earnings. She was purchased by the late former champion Australian jockey Roy Higgins and Wylie Dalziel for $105,000 at the 2013 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale from the draft of Fig Tree Thoroughbreds.
